My husband, Dr. John Rhoads was a VERY talented, loving man. He surprised me one Christmas with a stained glass window he created! It was the “Tree of Life” originated by Frank Lloyd Wright which is featured at the Darwin D. Martin House in Buffalo, N.Y. where John and I grew up before moving to Fort Myers.

John suddenly passed away last February due to pancreatic cancer. Our children, Amy & Jonathan, along with myself wanted a way to display and honor John with his magnificent window.

That is when I contacted New Erra Doors! This company made our dream come true creating a beautiful door, showcasing John’s stained glass “Tree of Life.”

My new front door brings so many happy memories of John – he will always live in our hearts and our home.
